Will 2ndSite Send Recurring Invoices Automatically?
Yes. You can send recurring invoices automatically at various intervals
including: weekly, two weeks, monthly, two months, quarterly, six
months, yearly and two years. You can also decide if you want your
invoices to be sent automatically OR if you only want your invoices
created automatically. This way your invoices will be generated with
a "pending" status and will not be sent until you manually review
and send them yourself. This is a setting that can be changed by clicking
"system settings" from the "Home" tab, then selecting
"Step 4 - Preferences" and clicking "Invoicing".
How to Send a Recurring Invoice with 2ndSite
- Click "new invoice" from the "Invoices tab.
- Click, "create new recurring profile".
- On the invoice creation form select your preferred recurrence
pattern (weekly, monthly, etc.) and the number of occurrences
that your auto invoices will finish (i.e. for a year of monthly
invoices, enter 12). A recurring profile will be created when
you save this invoice. This profile can be distinguished by its
yellow background. Using this profile new invoices will automatically
generated at the intervals you indicated in the recurrence pattern.
NOTE: Recurring invoices are generated between 1:00AM and 3:00AM
EST so do not expect your invoices to appear immediately.
